The University of Baltimore:
A History of Serving International Students
Mission
The University of Baltimore is a career-oriented university that specializes in knowledge that works.
Founded in 1925, UB’s mission is to provide outstanding educational programs for professionally oriented students. Our programs are
designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and competencies to enhance entry into the job market and to prepare them for
meaningful career advancement.
Location
UB is located in Baltimore, Maryland; a city known for its affordable living costs and its close
proximity to Washington DC and New York. Our midtown campus, located within walking distance to the center of the city, is situated in the heart
of the city’s cultural district and contains everything you’ll need to sustain mind and body--libraries, computer labs, media labs, athletic
and dining facilities and the best location.
Program
Nearly 5000 students are enrolled in 17 undergraduate programs, 21 graduate programs and
3 doctoral degree programs in the School of Business, the College of Liberal Arts, and the School of Law. When you graduate, you will
join a dynamic and supportive network of alumni who are leaders in their fields.
Merrick School of Business
At a university that emphasizes work readiness, it’s logical – but still
impressive – that our business programs are accredited by AACSB International. This achievement is highly valued by educators and students alike,
and is a distinction held by less than twenty-five percent of all business schools worldwide. More than 25,000 alumni can attest to the school’s solid
reputation for providing top-notch programs taught by experienced faculty.
More than 1,700 students who want to make their mark in business are enrolled in UB’s practitioner-oriented undergraduate and graduate business programs, including the:
