ABOUT WWEDU WORLD WIDE EDUCATION
World Wide Education is an institute of higher learning located in Wels Austria. The distance learning programme and modules are accredited by the Austrian Ministry of Education and are part of the Bologna Process (European Credit Transfer System). This means that studies with WWEDU are transferable to European Union countries as well as countries that generally recognize European Education.
We recognize the specific needs of different regions and even countries and as such have tried to develop parts of the contents of our programmes to suit local conditions. In certain situations we also adopt the learning methods to incorporate needs and issues in different regions.

Duration and schedule:
MBA in General Management comprises four semesters.
The course is intended as an educational programme for students in full time employment.
The modular structure behind the courses together with the pallet of recorded lecture blocks (learning on demand) is geared towards the special situation of students in full time employment.
Requirements:
- A degree awarded by an Austrian or overseas university or college involving a course of studies covering a minimum of 6 semesters and two years relevant practical professional experience
- A degree from a respective university course or a course of studies with university accreditation and a minimum of three years relevant practical professional experience.
- In special cases applicants holding a final school leaving certificate (or similar) but who fail to comply with the requirements stipulated in Par. 1 and 2 may be admitted. In such special cases applicants will be examined by the Enrolment Board to testify their suitability. Special cases apply to applicants who can submit proof of relevant training and further education programmes as provided by Local Authorities, Public Administration Chambers and Institutes such as career-oriented courses of study, professional examinations, master craftsman and proficiency examinations.
- The Enrolment Board is entitled to stipulate supplementary examinations and an enrolment examination.
Applications/Admission:
Applications for the courses must be made in written form.
The admission procedure is based on an examination of the applicant’s documents and qualifications and, if required, an interview with the Enrolment Board. An enrolment examination may be stipulated.
The Director of Academic Studies will notify applicants of the admission to the courses.
Recognition of exams:
In line with the Austrian legislation governing university studies “UniStG” § 59 and upon application made by the student, the Director of Academic Studies will recognize examination passes from equivalent courses of studies from acknowledged post-secondary and non-university affiliated educational institutes. Reference will be made here in particular to examination results achieved in the course of relevant study programmes.
All applications for the recognition of examinations must be submitted in written form to the Director of Academic Studies.
Programme Content:
The extent of the programme is 120 Credits (ECTS). Students are required to complete 30 Credits of Basic Studies, (54) Credits of Advanced Studies and (6) of Advanced Professional Studies. In addition to the major and minor studies, students will also take 6 credits of Methodological Studies and write a Masters thesis. In some cases students who do not meet the general admission requirements will be required to take supplementary studies in addition to these studies. The extent of supplementary courses to be taken and the options for taken them will be discussed with the students individually.
