Course
Details
The
unique 50 credit MBA program is delivered in 11
months with the opportunity to specialize in seven
concentration areas: Accounting, Finance, Management
Information Systems, Marketing, Organizational
Behaviour and Human Resource Management, Operations
Decision Sciences and Artificial Intelligence,
and Strategy, Environment and Organizations.
The
School also offers a dual degree MBA/MS in the
Management of Information Systems, a two year
program which includes a paid internship, providing
students with the opportunity to integrate technology
and management in a real-world setting. In addition,
a dual degree is offered with the University's
School of Law (MBA/JD). Other prospective dual
degree programs currently under development include
an MBA/MS in Industrial Engineering and an MBA/MS
in Valuation.
In
addition to the Full-time MBA, Katz also offers
a Part-time/Evening MBA, an Executive MBA, and
a Doctoral program.
All
programs are accredited by the Association to
Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB
International).
Pedagogical
Methods and Language of Tuition
MBA
courses are taught by 70 full-time faculty using
a wide variety of methods: case-study, role-playing,
lecture, discussion, and simulation. Other highlights
of the MBA curriculum include team-based projects
in which real-world processes and issues are encountered.
From the very beginning of their time at Katz,
students are part of a team. "Signature Programs"
give students an opportunity to combine theory
with practice. These highly focused programs are
developed by our top faculty scholars, in conjunction
with industry leaders, to give Katz students an
interdisciplinary depth of field and competitive
advantage - in critical business areas.
